THE CO2 BALANCE POSSIBILITIES USING MEASUREMENT EQUIPMENT
Main Article Content
Abstract
Review of carbon dioxide measuring methods and possibilities of its balance was the main objective of this essay. The paper describes the following types: alkali absorption method, closed chamber method, dynamic closed chamber method, open flow method, automatic CO2 exchange system, soil CO2 exchange system SRS-1000 and eddy covariance method. High measurement variability among different methods prompted the discussion of how to increase the accuracy of carbon dioxide emission rates. Broad spectrum of activity and high versatility of automated flux systems gives possibilities for their use in balancing CO2 in different ecosystems.
