Formy specjacyjne fosforu w wodach powierzchniowych w zlewni Jeziora Gorzuchowskiego
Main Article Content
Abstract
his paper presents seasonal changes of phosphate concentration in Gorzuchowskie lake catchment during the hydrological years 2005?2006. Water samples were collected once every month in two control points, above and below Gorzuchowskie Lake, and one from lake. Phosphorous speciation was done by
Visual Minteq programme, based on chemical equilibrium constants. To evaluate potential risk of phosphate transport from agricultural sources digital elevation model, a map of potential surface runoff and analysis of soil cover were used. Based on phosphate concentration water quality of the Mała Wełna River (control point Kłecko and Zakrzewo) was classified as below good. Results obtained showed that phosphate occurs mainly as
HPO4 2- anions. Ambient conditions prevailing during the analysed period favoured precipitation of P in the form of hydroxylapatite and its accumulation in bottom sediments. Only in May and June phosphate concentration in water was so low that release of phosphorus from sediment was observed.
