Aims and scope
Current Agronomy (formerly Polish Journal of Agronomy) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal covering topics related to broad-sense crop production and agriculture-related environmental issues. The journal publishes original research papers and review articles and is open to all researchers globally.
Topic areas include:
- Agronomy (cultivation, fertilization, plant protection, breeding, mechanization);
- Natural sciences relating to agriculture (microbiology, soil science, biochemistry, plant physiology, genetics, ecology, environmental protection);
- Crop production economics;
- Agricultural production area management.
Additionally, the journal's scope includes sections on spatial analysis, biotechnology, soil science, microbiology, fertilization, the environmental impact of agriculture, agricultural production systems, and plant production, to which thematic editors have been assigned. However, this does not exhaust the thematic scope of published articles, and each submission's compliance with the journal's profile is considered individually.
Our aim is to disseminate scientific achievements by publishing the results of research conducted at research institutes, universities, agricultural advisory centers, and other agriculture-related institutions. The content is intended primarily for scientists, but may also be of interest to other audiences (students, industry representatives, agricultural advisors).
Why submit
